Upon graduating from Grove City College in Pennsylvania with a degree in Industrial Management, Matt began his construction career at NVR in Washington DC. In 2005 Matt and his growing family relocated to Austin where he started Risinger & Company. Matt is dedicated to Building Science and is a recognized expert & thought leader in the industry.
Hugo Reynolds

Hugo is an experienced builder, woodworker and graduate of the Master of Architecture program at UT-Austin. His role at Risinger is to translate architectural intent and client priorities into productive, well-executed projects. Raised in rural Wisconsin, Hugo’s introduction to building started at an early age. From restoring vintage sailboats with his father to running a painting business out of his high school station wagon, creating and improving spaces has been a lifelong pursuit. When not building homes, Hugo is an avid outdoor enthusiast who attempts to keep up with his two young boys and superhero wife.
Steve Lesem
Chief Operating Officer
Following a rewarding career in high tech, and having built homes all over Texas as well as in the northeast, Steve now pursues his passion for homebuilding. Ten years ago, Steve built his first high performance home, and today he translates that passion into a desire to improve all aspects of our company. With his experience, his engineering degree (from UT), and his passion to improve home building, he manages our finances, contracts, operations, insurance, HR, technology, and improved planning processes, Steve is our mentor and our coach. He particularly enjoys working to ensure that clients can easily understand our stewardship of their funds. Steve loves Austin, Lake Travis and the Texas Longhorns. Hook ‘em Horns!
Tim Hill
Vice President of Project Management
Tim comes to us following a successful career with his own home building company and enjoys the challenge of translating an inspirational set of plans into a beautiful home with patience, diligence, and expertise. Tim is a UT trained Mechanical Engineer, past president of the Home Builder’s Association of Greater Austin, certified Graduate Master Builder by the National Association of Homebuilders and has served 15 years on the City of Austin Building and Standards Commission.

BUILD
We are recognized nationally for our knowledge of building science and utilize the Austin Energy Green Building Program guidelines geared to our Hot/Humid Texas Hill Country climate.

We work closely with talented architects. Our tailored processes unify the client/architect/builder team.
MANAGEMENT
We value honesty and integrity above all else. Our budgeting and cost tracking is fully transparent and always available to the homeowner. Throughout the building process we hold weekly meetings with the architect, client, and builder to encourage team synergy and communication.
